We’ve been SNAP’d

The MS Society of Canada, Durham Regional Chapter was SNAP'd in the Month of May and June for Durham Regions MS Walks and the MS Carnations Campaign over the Mother's Day Weekend.

On April 22, 2012 Walkers from Ajax/Pickering, Bowmanville, Oshawa/Whitby, and Uxbridge came out to raise money for the MS Society of Canada. Below are photos from each walk, to veiw more photos from each walk please click on the photo.

The carnation. It's Canada's oldest and most recognized symbol of hope in the quest to end multiple sclerosis. Many Canadians living with multiple sclerosis are mothers. Others, either children or adults, have mothers affected by this disease because women are diagnosed with MS three times as often as men. That's why every year the MS Carnation Campaign takes place over Mother's Day weekend
