MS Carnation Campaign
MS Carnation Campaign
The carnation. It's Canada's oldest and most recognized symbol of hope in the quest to end multiple sclerosis. Many Canadians living with multiple sclerosis are mothers. Others, either children or adults, have mothers affected by this disease because women are diagnosed with MS three times as often as men. That's why every year the MS Carnation Campaign takes place over Mother's Day weekend from May 10th to May 12th 2013, thousands of volunteers in more than 280 communities across Canada will be showing their dedication to finding a cure by selling carnations on street corners, malls and other public spaces. Look for us in the community at local venues/events like the Oshawa Centre, Pickering Town Centre and LCBO locations!
This year you'll find volunteers at the following locations:
Oshawa Centre, Midtown Beer Store, Ritson N Beer Store, Whitby N LCBO,
Brock St N Beer Store, Pickering Town Centre, and Ajax Beer Store
Thank you to all our dedicated volunteer drivers, sellers and office assistance! Our 2012 MS Carnation Campaign was a huge success! Carnations were sold in every major municipality, city, town and township in Durham Region over the Mother's Day weekend! See you in 2013!
To honour the special Mom’s in our community and celebrate Mother’s Day, we would like to offer you the opportunity of ordering carnations for your company/organization/staff. We offer three different Carnation packages:
- 5-Stem Carnation Bouquets: beautifully wrapped carnation bouquets with the MS Society seal. Great for staff appreciation gifts or staff office orders
- Potted Mini-Carnations: a lasting impression. Potted mini-carnations are perennial plants. Great for staff appreciation or staff office order that keeps on giving!
