Whitby MS Walk

It’s that time of year again for the local MS Walk in Uxbridge .  Come join us and support your local Multiple Sclerosis Society Chapter (Durham Regional) for this fundraising event.

When: Sunday, April 18, 2010  

Time: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Location: Uxbridge Secondary School

The MS Walk or Walk MS, is the flagship event for fundraising and community awareness for the Durham Region. 

There is no more important time then now to support the MS Society and the search for a cure.  Recent media attention in to CCSVI is encouraging and at the forefront of many with MS.  Events like the MS Walk in Ajax and Pickering will help to raise funds to support further research and local support including equipment for suffers of MS.  

During the event, participants can walk a five or 10-kilo-metre route. Walk as a team or an individual, everyone is welcome to participate.

Volunteers are also needed to help with setup, registration and cleanup.  If you would like to volunteer your time please contact the Durham Regional Chapter of the MS Society.
